Smokey Taupe Eye Makeup

Autumn is approaching and we’ve still got a few warm weeks to endure before we can start wearing our leather boots and winter scarves. Now is the time to take your fall eyeshadow collection kit out from your makeup bag and start layering all your favourite shadows, from warm shimmery whites, to cool purples. Follow the steps below and you will see how easy it is to achieve the smoky taupe eye makeup – perfect for those autumn months ahead!
Step 1: Start with a clean and moisturized face. Apply your base of primer, concealer and foundation.
Step 2: Use a fluffy brush to set the eye area with powder before proceeding to the next step.
Step 3: Add soft, muted plummy mauve eyeshadow with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish across your crease line.
Step 4: Your brush should be able to create soft edges without wiping the colour away.
Step 5: Lower your eyelid so you can have a smooth service to draw on. Trace your upper lash line with pale purple shadow.
Step 6: Next, apply a shimmery silver shadow to the outer corner of your eyelid.
Step 7: Use a blending brush to gently smudge the colour back and forth.
Step 8: The next thing you need to do is to refine your lower waterline. To do this, gently run your eyeliner near the base of your lower eyelashes several times starting from the outer corner and finishing it somewhere in the middle of your waterline. Since you want your makeup to look natural, do not make this lining too thick or too dark.
Step 9: Apply your fake eyelashes by placing the strip on your eyelid, positioning it as close as possible to your natural lashes. Allow the glue to dry naturally. Then, apply black mascara on both your top and bottom lashes to achieve more natural, glamorous look by blending your natural lashes with the false ones. Source: makeup-mania.net
